Heh, was kinda depressing when Combo goes apeshit. Given me flashbacks : o
This s great film! Meadows' films defy categorisation and always exceed expectation, as anyone who has seen A ROOM FOR ROMEO BRASS or DEAD MAN'S SHOES will attest. THIS IS ENGLAND had a lot to live up to… Great cinematography!!! Oh, and lets not forget TWENTYFOUR SEVEN!
Meadows did a great job of showing the original skins/rude boys lovin their ska, working class attire, multi ethnic and football lovers. This movie brings back memories of my mod days! Maybe this will do the same as Quadrophenia did when it came out!
